Monday, September 1, 2008 NVIFF Opening Ceremonies Friday September 12, KSTC The Opening Ceremonies of the 2nd Annual Non Violence International Film Festival welcomes the public and members of the film community to give recognition to this important Regional Festival. The King Street Theatre Centre hosts entertainment, refreshment and conversation beginning at 6:30. Four inspiring short films start the season off at 7pm beginning with the AcademyTM nominated, "I Met the Walrus". Two student shorts; "Ten Reais", from Refreshments, entertainment and conversation continue following the viewing. Admission is $10, with a cash bar.
