Around the World

In Mexico City, 200 people formed a peace sign in a square with a long history of violence. In Guinea, people gathered to clean-up the neighbourhood and celebrate. In Hungary, there was a gathering at the Garden of Philosophers, with ceremonies and a speech. In Chile, close to 1000 gathered to hear Silo, the founder of New Humanism, speak. In Cameroon, a rally and public celebration. In Nairobi, 150 people gathered for a walk for non-violence... and on and on, many, many small gatherings of people in neighbourhoods and town centres, all moved by a force growing within them that they want to express in the world.

In Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo and in many parts of the world, it was a wonderful day made possible by the kindness of many members, supporters and friends.
